Peterson constructed the Ruth Callon Center, formerly Sawmill Woods, for the Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation.
The facility features six classrooms, an administrative suite, a renovated kitchen, and a full gymnasium, all thoughtfully designed to support students who have experienced trauma and behavioral challenges.
This project was meaningful from start to finish, and we are grateful to everyone who helped bring this important space to life.
Our team completed a 35,000 SF ground-up facility for a new childhood center for Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation. This scope of work included a comprehensive scope of work, including foundations and site concrete, door and hardware installation, epoxy flooring, overhead cooling, and exterior blocking.

At Edgewood High School, our team demolished an existing parking lot to construct a new 18,000 SF fieldhouse. This addition features six basketball goals, a swing-down volleyball net, and two overhead batting cages.
Additionally, the former auxiliary gym was demolished and transformed into a new kitchen. In total, our team renovated 75% of the high school, creating modern spaces for students and staff.

Our team completed this project for the Clinton Public Library. This involved redoing the main entrance, adding an exterior ramp at the south entrance area, adding site pavers to enhance the front of the facility, and new flag poles. We also painted the existing EIFS on the exterior of the library.
Peterson wrapped up a major set of improvements for South Putnam Community School Corporation, delivering spaces designed to support athletes, students, and the wider school community.
The project included a 28,000 SF fieldhouse addition featuring a new gymnasium, weight room, wrestling room, and locker areas, along with a 7,000 SF full renovation of the existing natatorium, complete with upgraded mechanical systems. We also expanded the elementary parking lot to better support daily operations and school events.
We completed at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. We remodeled the chemistry department's 1,500 SF storage room. All chemicals and supplies are stored and distributed to the department out of this space. This project included (2) fume hoods, ventilated storage cabinets, acid storage cabinets, flammable storage, a flask scrubber, and a complete exhaust/ventilation system.
Our team completed a splash pad in Forest Park in Brazil, Indiana. For this project, Peterson completed the excavation, plumbing, and electrical. We constructed a new CMU building for a bathroom and maintenance room. In addition, our team Installed the splash pad concrete, sidewalks, parking lot, and all the splash pad toy
Peterson funded and renovated the locker room for Northview High School's women's volleyball and basketball teams.
This project included the demolition of the existing lockers, ceilings, lighting, and carpet. We also installed new all-wood lockers, including power and phone charging capabilities in each locker, a new locker base, under bench dimmable strip lighting, new ceilings and light fixtures, carpet, paint, and television monitor for game film review, and provided a new 44'x8'glass markerboard.
We renovated the Northview High School Athletic Building in Brazil, Indiana. All interior CMU walls, lockers, ceilings, and electrical and mechanical systems in the existing locker room sections were removed entirely. Our team then completed an entire build-out, including four new locker rooms featuring metal lockers, new restrooms, showers, and all-new electrical and HVAC systems.
In addition, our team also installed a new rooftop unit on the building, rebuilt the wing walls, and painted the floor, walls, and ceiling for the concession stand.
Our team completed this renovation for LEEAP Center in Brazil, Indiana. This project included a complete gut and rebuild of an area to house and relocate the Clay Community School Corporation's IT Department into the new space. The remodel also includes a space for adult education. New metal stud/drywall walls, acoustic ceilings, floors, and electrical and HVAC systems were all installed.
