Peterson served as design-build general contractor on Project Huskies, a 543,000 SF build-to-suit facility in Greenfield, Indiana for Shear Property Group, one of Peterson’s longest-standing developer relationships with a multi-building track record across the Indianapolis metro market. The facility was purpose-built for Crecera Brands, a rapidly growing e-commerce company specializing in the passion sports and outdoor lifestyle market, whose portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands includes Sportsman’s Guide, The Golf Warehouse, Baseball Savings, and Salt Strong.
The facility features a 40-foot clear height, 35 dock doors, two drive-in doors, and 200 parking spaces, purpose-built to support Crecera’s large-scale e-commerce fulfillment and distribution operations. Peterson completed a significant interior build-out tailored to Crecera’s specific operational requirements, as well as the full design and construction of an extensive outdoor amenity package — including irrigated landscaping, a pavilion, shelters, a pickleball court, a 2,800 SF putting green, a fire pit with benches, a 30-foot flagpole, and a fishing dock. The building also incorporates summer ventilation designed to maintain comfortable working conditions during peak fulfillment operations.
The outdoor amenity scope is a direct reflection of Crecera’s brand identity — a company built around outdoor sports and active lifestyle culture extending that ethos into the design of their own facility. Peterson’s ability to execute both the industrial core and the full amenity package as a single design-build partner enabled seamless delivery from site work through occupancy.
